Hotels, tours, and dinner
Hotel reservations
Hotel reservations should be made through Maleca, our official travel agency in order to get the discount room rate. The page for hotel reservations is at http://www.maelca.com.mx/accommodation.htm.
Conference Hotels
The conference will be held in the hotels Fiesta Americana (main conference hotel), Holiday Inn, and Hyatt in Mérida. The three hotels are located on the same block, at not more than two minutes walking distance from each other. The prices for the rooms are around 1,300 to 1,600 Mexican pesos (90 to 115 €). All prices include breakfast.
Other Hotels
The Hotel Mission also offers rooms at discount prices for the participants of the 30th ICRC. It is located close to the city centre, at about 15 min walking from the conference hotels. The prices for the rooms are 600 to 800 Mexican pesos (45 to 60 €), breakfast included.
Tours
Sunday, July 8, is free for sightseeing, tours, or relaxation. Maelca, our official travel agency, offers several tours to see some of the pre-hispanic, colonial, and natural highlights of the Yucatán peninsula.
Conference Dinner
If you are interested in the conference dinner, please fill out the dinner registration. The conference dinner will be on July 10, 2007. The cost for the dinner is $616.00 MXN (approximately 42 € or $56 US) per person.
