Instructions for presentations and posters

Posters

Each poster slot will have the following dimensions:  90 cm width by 120 cm height. The width of 90 cm may not be exceeded and will be enforced if necessary.

Presenters of poster contributions are encouraged to follow the recommendations below:

  • Install the posters during the morning coffee break (10:00AM) of the first day of your session.
  • Material for mounting the posters will be provided.
  • Remove posters by 7 pm on the second day of the session. We will have to discard posters which are left behind by their authors.

There will be three poster sessions during the conference and individual posters will be on display for two days. Poster sessions will take place during the afternoon, from 14:45 to 16:15. Authors are expected to attend their poster during both sessions.

The detailed schedule for poster sessions will be made available soon together with the conference timetable.

The exact information will be indicated at the poster room at the beginning of the conference.

General information on oral sessions

In every conference room there will be an overhead projector and a laptop for video projection. Electronic presentations will be possible in Power Point, PDF Acrobat.

Oral presentations will be 10 minutes plus 2 minutes for discussion.

We encourage to the presenter to contact to the organisers at least one day before to scheduled presentation. For this purpose, we will provide a room in the Hotel Fiesta Americana with equipment and support staff to help you to verify that your presentations displays well on our equipment. Our staff will receive all presentations in order to prepare the equipment in the conference rooms the next day. The preferred form for bringing your presentation is on USB memory. CDs will also be accepted, but not floppy disks.

Please note that the schedule of the oral sessions is very tight. Delays or problems due to presentations not provided to the organisers the day before the session will be the responsibility of the presenter. Any time lost will be deducted from the duration of the talk.
